Mountain Home · Harrison · Twin Lakes
One contractor. The whole backyard.
Custom pools, kitchens, decks, pergolas, and fire — designed together for Twin Lakes lots.
Design study · The job
Pool, kitchen, and cover as one room.
This is what we sell: water, cooking, shade, and a floor that ties them together. The photographed jobs below are real Twin Lakes work. The rest of the room is shown as studies until we shoot more finished yards.
What we build
The whole backyard, not four separate bids.

The backyard has to work in July and January.
Lake heat, freeze-thaw, clay, and slope. We design the water, the cover, and the fire for this weather — not a coastal catalog dropped on a Twin Lakes lot.
Walk your lotHow it works
From the first walk to a yard you actually use.
01
Consult
Walk the lot. Tell us how you want to live outside. We look at grade, access, and what the house already wants.
02
Design
One plan for water, floor, cover, kitchen, and fire — sized to this property and this budget.
03
Build
Our crew builds it. One contractor from layout through finish, not a stack of subcontractors you have to run.
04
Live in it
The backyard you have been putting off, actually done.
Why us
Why Backyard Builds?
One contractor. One vision.
Design, build, and finish stay under one roof so the pool, kitchen, and cover actually belong together.
Built for the Ozarks.
Lake summers, freeze-thaw, clay, and slope. We build outdoor rooms that hold up here.
Builder-grade quality.
The same construction standard we bring to custom work on the house, applied to the yard.
